The Dawn of a New Beginning

Recently, the four deacons of BPGC signed on the dotted lines of the S&P agreement for the acquisition of the adjacent unit of our existing shop lot in Pusat Bandar Puchong, from Focus on The Family. The church has been growing steadily over the years, since we first started the work back in 1995, and there was a real need for more space.

We know that this acquisition is truly God's will for us (there was a time a few years back that we could have purchased this shop lot but we could not afford it) and we can truly see God's hand working throughout the entire process of the acquisition - how the loan from the bank to fund this purchase was easily obtained and the members of the church have been giving generously of their money and time.

A Gotong Royong was organised on 7 November 2009, as a kick start to this new beginning. About 30 of the members turned up to lend a hand in cleaning the new shop lot, all four floors of it! The Gotong Royong started at 9.30 am (most of the members were punctual - another good sign J) and we were able to wrap things up by 1.00 pm. Thereafter, more than half of the group invaded the McDonalds at Tesco for lunch, and it was a good end to the heavy workout we had!

First we vacuum, then we mop!

Incidentally, this blog is also new. There has always been a need for us to reach out to the community and we feel that this is one avenue that would appeal to most, especially the younger generation. This blog is meant not only for BPGC members but for our friends and families as well. We value your contributions so feel free to submit articles or pictures on the activities of the church and the Puchong community or places of interest in and around Puchong. We also welcome your thoughts and/or questions you may have on God's word and even prayer requests! You may send these to bpgcpost@gmail.com

Please note that all contributions will go through the administrators before they are posted, and where necessary, censorship, including approval from our Elders and Deacons will be effected.
